Paso Robles, Calif. – January 28, 2025 – Regional Mexican group Los Tucanes de Tijuana, led by Mario Quintero Lara, comes to Vina Robles Amphitheatre, Friday, May 2. Tickets are available via Ticketmaster, Friday, January 31, at 10AM.

Created in Tijuana, Mexico, Los Tucanes de Tijuana has entertained fans for nearly four decades with a long repertoire of corridos and cumbia-norteña. With an intergenerational and far-reaching appeal, the group has adapted from selling music on cassettes and CDs to online streaming apps. The group has sold more than 20 million albums worldwide and have garnered 34 gold and 30 platinum records as well as earning a Latin Grammy in 2012, five Grammy nominations, nine Lo Nuestro Awards and multiple BMI Awards. In 2019, they became the first regional Mexican group to perform at Coachella, and three years prior, they served as ambassadors of norteño music in Spain.

Popular songs from their catalogue include “La chona,” “El tucanazo,” “La chica sexy,” “Vivir de noche,” “El centenario,” and new hits from album “comandante en jefe,” have attracted a new audience.

Currently, Quintero Lara and Servín Raya, percussion, are the remaining original members. The other three members are Alfredo González (accordion), Labrada Valenzuela and Luis Adrián Cazares Gómez (bass).
